# Public dashboards

Share a read-only traffic dashboard for a site with anyone via a link; revenue, payments and profit are never shown on it.

A public dashboard is a read-only view of a site's traffic that anyone with the link can open, without an account. It is off by default.

## Turn it on

1. Open the site's Settings → General.
2. Switch on Public dashboard.
3. Copy the link shown under the switch. It has the form `https://app.productlense.app/p/<site-id>`.

Only owners and admins can change site settings. Switching it off makes the link return "not found" straight away.

## What it shows

- The overview numbers for traffic: visitors, pageviews, sessions, bounce rate, visit duration and signups.
- The chart, and the sources, pages, countries and devices breakdowns.
- Date ranges of up to 365 days, in the site's time zone.

## What it never shows

- Revenue, payments, customers, ad spend or profit. Money series are sent as zeros and revenue reports answer "revenue is not shown on public dashboards".
- Visitor lists, journeys, user ids or emails.
- Settings, billing connections, API keys or team members.

Public dashboard requests are rate-limited per IP address and cached for 60 seconds, so a link shared widely does not slow your own dashboard.
