Where DataFast is ahead today

Nothing below is shipped in ProductLense yet. Items marked “In v1.1” are being built; the rest are not scheduled.

In v1.1

  • Visitors recognised across days without identify. DataFast’s default script keeps a 365-day cookie. ProductLense counts a visitor per day and joins days after identify. In v1.1, passing the visitor id to checkout and payment-link capture attribute multi-day purchases without a cookie. datafa.st/docs/gdpr-cookieless-tracking
  • No-code payment links. DataFast attributes Stripe Payment Links and Lemon Squeezy and Polar checkout links from the success URL. In v1.1 for ProductLense. datafa.st/docs/stripe-payment-links
  • Read API, MCP server and ChatGPT app. DataFast has a REST API on every plan, an OAuth MCP server, a CLI and a ChatGPT app in developer preview. A read API and an MCP server for Claude, Cursor and ChatGPT are in v1.1 for ProductLense; a CLI is not planned yet. datafa.st/mcp

  • Mobile dashboard app and live globe extras. DataFast has iOS and Android dashboard apps with widgets, and globe replay over hours. ProductLense has React Native and Flutter SDKs for tracking apps, and a live globe with avatars and 30 minutes of replay, but no mobile dashboard app. datafa.st/docs/mobile-app
  • Longer raw history and a cheaper 10k tier with revenue. DataFast keeps 3 years on Starter and 5+ on Growth, and charges $9 for 10k events with revenue. ProductLense keeps raw events 90 days with reports from aggregates, and revenue starts on Starter at $19. datafa.st/#pricing

Choose DataFast if

DataFast has more surface today: a cookie that recognises a visitor for a year, a read API, MCP, a CLI and a ChatGPT app, eight native billing integrations including WooCommerce and Easytool, a Meta Ads spend import, a mobile app, and a real business as its live demo. At 10k events with revenue it costs $9 a month; ProductLense needs Starter at $19.

  • You want one visitor recognised across weeks by a cookie, without calling identify.
  • You need MCP, a CLI or a ChatGPT app today.
  • You sell through WooCommerce or Easytool, or want Meta Ads spend pulled in automatically.
  • Your site is tiny and $9 a month with revenue decides it.

Choose ProductLense if

ProductLense shows the cost side: processor fees from the provider and ad spend from any channel come off attributed revenue, giving profit, CAC, ROAS and payback per channel, plus retention cohorts by channel. It is free up to 10k events, sets no cookies, documents how every number is counted, and its $19 Starter includes 100k events, 3 sites, funnels and journeys.

  • You spend on ads in any channel and want profit after fees, not only revenue or ROAS.
  • You bill through Razorpay, Chargebee, Gumroad or Creem.
  • You want a free plan, INR prices, or no cookies at all.
  • You want to check how every number is counted.

ProductLense vs DataFast: questions

Is ProductLense a DataFast alternative?
Yes. Both tools join website analytics to billing so revenue shows up next to the source that brought the customer. ProductLense adds ad spend and processor fees to that join, so the main table shows profit per channel rather than revenue alone, and it supports ten billing providers plus a payment API.
Does ProductLense have a free plan when DataFast does not?
Yes. ProductLense is free up to 10k events a month for one site, with no card and 30 days of history, but no billing connection. DataFast has a 14-day trial and no free plan; its Starter is $9 a month for 10k events, according to its pricing section on 11 October 2026.
Which billing providers does each tool support?
DataFast documents Stripe, Lemon Squeezy, Polar, Paddle, Shopify, Dodo Payments, WooCommerce and Easytool, plus a payment API. ProductLense connects Stripe, Paddle, Lemon Squeezy, Polar, Dodo Payments, Shopify, Razorpay, Chargebee, Gumroad and Creem, plus a payment API. Only ProductLense reads Razorpay, Chargebee, Gumroad and Creem; only DataFast has WooCommerce and Easytool.
Does DataFast have visitor journeys and MCP?
Yes. DataFast has had a Journey tab since November 2024, and offers an MCP server, a CLI and a ChatGPT app in developer preview. ProductLense has visitor journeys from Starter and an in-dashboard Ask that checks every number against the query; a read API and an MCP server are in v1.1.
Which is cheaper, ProductLense or DataFast?
At 10k events with revenue, DataFast at $9; ProductLense is free at 10k but without billing. At 100k both cost $19, and ProductLense includes 3 sites and unlimited team members against 1 site and 1 seat. At 1M ProductLense is $49 against $69, at 10M $149 against $169. DataFast prices above 10k come from its pricing page code.
Can I move from DataFast to ProductLense without losing attribution?
New attribution starts when the ProductLense script is live, because first touch is recorded on each visitor’s first event. Connect your billing provider and ProductLense backfills 12 months of payments, so revenue history appears immediately; payments from before the script was installed show as unattributed until those customers return and identify.

Free up to 10k events a month. No card.

Add the script, connect Stripe or any of 14 other billing providers, and see revenue by channel the same day.
