Raw events and export
See every pageview, goal and identify call as it arrived, filter it, open any event's properties, and download the raw rows as CSV or NDJSON.
The Events page shows your raw events, newest first: every pageview, custom event and identify call exactly as ProductLense stored it. Use it to check that a new goal fires, see what one visitor did a minute ago, or pull rows into a spreadsheet or warehouse.
What each row shows
- Time: how long ago the event arrived. Hover it for the exact time.
- Event: pageviews in grey, goals in green, checkouts and payments highlighted.
- Page: the path the event fired on.
- Source: the
utm_source, or the referring domain when there is none, or Direct. - Location: city when known, otherwise the country, with its flag.
- Device: device, operating system and browser icons.
- Visitor: the first characters of the visitor id.
Click a row to open the event. The panel lists every field and every property you sent with the event, has a Copy JSON button, and links to the visitor's full journey.
Filter the list
Hover a row and click the funnel next to an event, page, source, location or visitor to show only matching events. Or click + Filter and pick a field:
| Filter | Matches |
|---|---|
| Event | The event name, for example pageview or signup |
| Page | An exact path, or a prefix when it ends in *, for example /blog/* |
| Source | A utm_source value or a referring domain |
| Channel | organic_search, paid, social, referral, email or direct |
| Country | A two-letter code such as US |
| Device, Browser | desktop, mobile, tablet; Chrome, Safari and so on |
| Visitor | One visitor's 16-character id |
Filters live in the page address, so you can bookmark or share a filtered view.
Watch events arrive
Turn on Live and new events slide in at the top every few seconds. Live pauses while you scroll down the list and resumes when you return to the top.
Download raw events
Download raw events saves every event in the selected range and filters as CSV. NDJSON saves the same rows as one JSON object per line, which loads straight into BigQuery, ClickHouse or DuckDB.
The columns are ts, event, path, hostname, referrer_domain, channel, source, medium, campaign, country, region, city, device, browser, os, visitor, session and props. ts is in UTC; props holds the JSON you sent with the event. You can download raw events 5 times an hour per site.
How long raw events are kept
Raw events are kept for 90 days, and the Events page can go back as far as your plan's history allows within that (30 days on Free). If you pick an older start date, the list starts at the oldest day still kept and says so.
Every report is kept for the life of your site on Growth and Scale: visitors, sources, pages, goals, revenue and profit don't depend on raw events. The daily export covers those reports for any range.
Privacy
Rows carry the visitor and session ids the script assigned, never an IP address, email or user agent. See What ProductLense collects.
